ok does anybody know apx how much to install a slave cylinder on the 03 cav.

Depends...

Simple R&R on a transmission is about $500 labor at a dealership. If the slave is bad and it's destroyed the clutch, then you'll need a new clutch and to get the flywheel resurfaced. Slave cylinder is somewhere around $190 and takes a whole 5 minutes to swap out when the tranny is removed.

Thank you so much. These shady @** mechanics were acting like its such a secret for them to tell me an apx amount. It hasnt destroyed the clutch or flywheel though thanks. Anybody live in Georgia near the southside area know or recommend a good technician.
