I had bully stage 4 6 puck, I loved it. It sucked driving in traffic but thats because it's a race clutch, as soon and you let off a millimeter you were in gear. Everyone I knew had a hard time with it or flat out hated it. Great company, great product I give it thumbs up.

Getting "better built" for the '08...

A lot of the 2nd Gen guys over on V6Z24.com praise them.

Well I don't know what I want to do. While at the shop today, we got a call from exedy clutches for the RCI and RD Fabs Drift mustang.
Apparently they have a new clutch in development ( i'm not sure if I can release the details or not, but they want us to test it out in the mustang)
Sooo..... I am going to talk to this guy, in which I am not going to name and see if they can do something for us eco guys better than a stock clutch.

cody.....you are such an ass.....
tell us about some secret expirimental clutch....

I have run one now for 5 years and I love them. I run a stage 4 in mine and I don't find it hard to drive on the street at all, pretty close to a stock feel. Great company to deal with, always in stock and great customer service.

I'm kinda looking forward to seeing it myself....
Apparently its a 5 puck, sprung and some new revolutionary friction material and going to feel like a stock clutch. I've already volunteered to drive it around town for the break in. But that didn't go so well with Ryan, since its a drift car and the local cops are older gentlemen and hate the sport compact seen. But its got a Full roll cage, stripped interior, fixed back Corbeau's, and putting around 500whp and 700tq down.

i got a stage 4 6 puck in my 2.4 and it seems just fine, i was used to the spec stage 3 and how the pedal felt as i havent drove my car with the stock clutch but with the bully the pedal feel is alot lighter then the spec stage 3 and the engagement seems just fine.
for others with the bully clutch how does your clutch pedal feel, mine seems light and i have bleed the clutch and installed the new slave that came with it, im not really concerned but just curious

Wagonstein has a Bully stage 3 6 puck in it. With around 300 ft lbs to the wheels at around 3k rpm it holds just fine! I like it and am very happy with it too.
If I take off at low rpm, it has a tendency to grab and jerk. But if I raise the rpm up just a bit to around 1500 rpm then it feels almost like stock. Yeah, my clutch pedal also feels soft with this clutch. I was also looking at bleeding the clutch lines until now. I'm glad mine is not the only one that feels like that.

Stage 4 costs $927, seems like a hefty tab but if it worked and had the correct pedal feel it's probably worthwhile.
Their application guide is kindof screwy on their site though...
Chevrolet Cavalier 2.4L Eng 2000-04 1 04-1601 $677.15
  	  	2 04-1602 $751.43

  	  	4 04-1624C $816.29
  	  	5 04-1625C $816.29
They only list the stage 1 clutch for the ecotecs. But the clutch is no different from the 2.4 getrag in the 2000-2004 models so not sure what they are thinking there...
