I'm planing on doing a swap from the 2.2l to the 2.4l . Wounding if the transmissons would rebolt back up. Are they the same or are they different? Maybe a stupid question, Yet I really need to know..

bell housing bolt patterns are different. you'll either need to swap the 2.4 one onto you're 2.2 one (assuming they are the same, either izuzu or getrag). OR just get the 2.4 trans.

No it won't. You will need a 2.4 tranny.
