I've now got a 2002 Manual Transmission Cavalier, with the lift-reverse. If I buy a B&M short shifter, first off, will that work? (I know nothing about this stuff, only exterior!) Second, if it works with my car, will it eliminate the lift-reverse upon application, or will it still be lift-reverse with the new shifter? Thanx in advance.
I think the same shifter works from 2001-2005? Asssuming that, yes, the B&M will have the reverse lockout option. If you don't want it, you just have to shave the piece of plastic that makes the lockout work.
