215-40-17 tires weren't listed because they're not the right tire size to use for your application.

Anything smaller than a 225(215)-45-17 will make a car that's already blessed with far too much wheel well space look even worse.

I have almost a 2" drop. Will that help with the wheel space? I know 215/45/17 was the best tire to go with but some guy ordered these and then couldn't pay for them so I picked them up with the tire already mounted. thanks for the info though.........If I can sell for a good price before april I'll buy the proper set

For Sale unused Nankang NS-1' 215/40R/17 lol
