Could someone please tell me why the stock rims leak air? I was told by the guy at the tire store that all rims leak air after they're so old...is it something I could fix? I mean its not that bad, although I do have to check the pressure about every 3 weeks.

Thanks for the help advance.

the seal or the vavle stem is leaking slowly, and 3 weeks anit bad, my sunbird goes flat after 3 days.

dont use the spray, get them remounted for 10 a tire, the spray gets your tire messy and theyll charge you when u get new tires.

I have already had them all remounted and rebalanced. Maybe the rims need a good cleaning on the inside lip?

if its the valve stem, take it to a tire shop and get them to tighten it. you might be able to do it yourself. that little metal prong thats in there, if you can grab it, you can turn it and tighten it. it happened to my car

you can buy the tool to tighten and remove the valve core for a couple bucks at wal mart or any auto parts stores

yeah do that, you may need new valve cores also real cheap. are you sure its the rim and not jsut a screw in the tire or something i have 2 of my tires plugged because of a screw and a staple.

I wanna fill mine with Helium...should lighten the car by a pound or two, plus, I'd be a hit at parties lol.

Brakes? I don't need no stinking brakes....I have air bags
