Tires Rubbing

Hey guys my 18's are rubbing i am gonna move from a 225-40-18 to a 215-35-18 is that gonna help any or not??? its rubbing about a quarter of an inch down. on the tire??

front or rear, shock side or fender side.......we've been through this before........

I know Viper Sorry BTW i found out my wheels have a 42 MM offset. Also they are rubbing on the upper fender.

I'm gonna guess front. My wheels are a 45 offset and the LF rubbed where I got hit a little. Just rolled the fender a bit and pulled it out some.
