18's w/ 42mm offset?
Friday, March 25, 2005 2:50 PM
ive been trying to figure wether 18's with a 42mm offset would rub or not. i assume not, but i was reading one of Wild Weasel's older posts, that say he recommended 35mm over 42mm, which i understand, but will the 42mm's have a chance of rubbing?
im about to purchase these rims today, and they have a 42mm offset, and i dont want any problems when i get them. any help is appreciated.

What's the width of the wheel? That's important when determining the offset.

Generally, you'll be fine with a 42 mm offset though.

I also have 18 x 8 with a 42 offset. Definitey had to roll the fenders.
