i looked them up, either the k104's or the k106's and supposedly they have very weak sidewalls and so make them a big pos tire. maybe look into the hr II's, thats what i'm thinkin of getting.....

Get some steelies with winter tires. 14" should do it. You don't want to be driving around in the winter on summer tires.

i have K106 tires. the sidewall is weak. i bent a wheel after 3 months of use. I have to be careful where i drive now. and it sucks.

i doubt you want this to happen:

though, these are 215/35 and i don't think i can fit anything bigger without modifying the wheel well

Damn that sucks. I just ordered a new set of 18's and after reading this post I went with Kuhmo's instead.

Im going to be getting a 17 Konig Holes rim. Witha 215-45-17 tire. Is that safe?

225/45/17 is the correct tire to use on 17" wheels

Hey, my wheel looks just like Kase's but only after 15 days with K106's....The pot hole was pretty huge though and it did claim a steelie rim on an Intrigue the same day but the HR II's that I had before seem alot better and stronger than the K106.

you can use a 215/45/17 but its prefered to use a 225/45/17. the 215 will just throw your speedo off by like 1/2 mph.
