Anyone have the NEWER version of the G-Force KDW ?
Tuesday, March 29, 2005 8:33 PM
I bought these tires today to replace my Scorchers, and I was wondering if anyone had these tires and how they liked them.

I ordered the same size (225/35/19) as I have, just wanted a new look for this year. They will be on the car Friday. I haven't seen them in person yet, but the pictures looked nice. And the ratings were DAMN good. If any of you have them, would you post a pic of them on your ride?

I have them!

Sorry the picture is dark but those are the new KDW's sitting in my apartment with my new rims

They look just as awesome in person as they do in all the pictures and they feel like a very solid tire too. I can't wait to get them on and go out to play

Unfortunately I can't put them on my car until I get my bent subframe replaced

Let me know how you like them when you get yours on!!

I don't have them but I will be getting them for my new 20's, a buddy of mine has a set and he can't say enough good things about them. Rodimus Prime, they also make that in a drag radial, basically its just a ALMOST bald KDW, and sticker compound...

Yep an overall great tire, I know a few people who have them and love them, and they stuck well when I test drove an '05 SRT-4 last week out of boredom and because our dealer got one in. Fun/badass car, but I can't afford it!

What an awesome tire in my opinion. I have them in 225/35/18, and the ride is still great. Not as hard of a ride as my old Paradas in a 40 series. Lotsa traction also in wet or dry compared to most other brands. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in them. Good luck.

I had them on the 19's and they were real nice. I didn't get to put a lot of miles on them b4 I sold the 19's. They seemed to stick to the road real well and were relatively quiet on as far as road noise goes. Plus they just look mean as hell.

Hmmn, these one's right? LOL

I concur, they ride great and don't get noisy when pushed hard cornering.. That's a plus.

I finally got them on my car! They are very nice. Very positive cornering feel. Lots of grip. The car stops a lot faster now. I don't squeek around corners anymore. I can accelerate like mad while cornering and it feels very confident. I haven't driven in the rain yet with them but I expect good things.

I will have pictures soon

I know this is old, but I saw it and wanted to post a (pretty poor) pic of them on my wheels. This tire kicks major asphault!!!! It''s like driving a whole new car. I accelerate with full confidence through corners I was riding the clutch through before. Rain- like rolling on dry pavement! These devils grip so well, that I noticed the severity of my body-roll problem LOL.

I wanted to add an experiment i ran with them a few days ago. I was driving along at about 2 in the morning (yeah, I'm one of those night people) and it was raining cats and dogs. So I decided to take the opportunity to test the stopping ability- at 45 miles an hour, I slammed on the brakes hard. I wish I could tell you the exact stopping distance, but it felt extremely impressive, and my anti-lock didn't even kick in. Moral of this story- on soaking wet roads, in the pouring rain, these things kept rolling under heavy breaking from 45. Massively impressed- I will absolutely be replacing them with the same tire when the time comes.
