Need some help with rims
Saturday, September 07, 2013 8:05 PM
I'm looking to get some dished steelies, these to be precise, and am having a bi&ch of a time finding what I need to know. I do know that a 4" backspace isn't near enough for the Cav but is a 2" spacer too much to make it fit? For a little help measurements are going to be 15x8 and looking for a slight poke and 215/60r15 for slight stretch (yes I know, stretching is bad, it's horrible for handling, and you chew through tires like Chris Farley around cocaine. Just saying I know the negatives, and I already know most opinions, don't need to hear). So back on track, should that set up get me close or am I doing something wrong, like math. Thanks for any help guys

Here's a tool that I use: http://www.willtheyfit.com/

It'll tell ya how far inset you'll be compared to the stock setup/ backspacing.

Just get 0 offset on a 8" wide. 215/60 isn't going to be stretched.

I was looking more into that, I've never stretched tires before, so I'm looking for any insight to this. So the 0 offset should put me where i need to be? or at least get me close?
