Universal power lock kits

do they work well?

I've done a few different setups, they are very easy only time they can get tricky is if you are doing keyless entry also.

Yup the keychain remote.

On my slowdance I didnt even bother with buttons in the car just wired it up to be keyless.

ya i not gonna worry about buttons on the inside i just want the keyless i have a 4 door it'd be great because whereever i go i havee to keep my car locked yet my friends do not agree with this at all and i have to remind them every time.

The how to would be pretty simple. Wire up the brain box, mount it under the dash somewhere. Install the door lock actuators and then run wires to the brain box. Brain box is the computer box that controls the kit if you didn't figure it out already Its pretty easy I helped a buddy install mine then I installed the spal power window kit shortly after since it was just as easy.

i have a cheap universal door locks for a 2 or 4 door for sale i never hook it

i just wanted to know what would be easier or better to do, i have a spare Z that is all power, would it be easier or better to install one of these or just take the wiring set up from my parts car.
