basically can this be done with no wiring issues? is it plug and play? and would i be better off getting a sunfire one so i can use the clockspring to put on the cobalt wheel?
Column can be swapped, but you will have to switch to the 03-05 sterring wheel.
Why exactly do you want to swap?

I want to swap the whole column i want to swap to one with tilt and cruise. and later swap to the cobalt wheel.
Theres a really good step by step write up on that. Search for it. But basically you need the 03-05 column and the clockspring from the 95-99 sunfire gt's with the radio control hook ups.

cobalt wheel will fit on 03-05 no issues installin any of it except airbags
the airbag is accually very simple but some people like to complicate things but no sense in getting into that as it offeneds people
