Ghetto Dash Repair

Like a lot of us with Cavaliers I have a badly cracked dash only by the windshield. Didn't really want to spend $110 for a dash cap, but couldn't stand to look at it anymore. I bought 1/2 yard of Vinyl fabric off of ebay for about $10 shipped. I believe they are 54" x 36". I got 3 or 4 pieces out of it. I ruined 1 by using headliner glue to make it stick and it ate through. I ended up removing the dash and tucking it in.

about 6 months later the wrinkles have flattened out

If I only had one more piece I could get rid of the jagged cuts on the top edge.

It needs to be a little longer or cut diagonal to stretch enough to cover bother ends (Looks fine when door is closed)
