but I want to see the install pictures. I have a 2000. The rear seat doesn't bolt in and has 1 center latch. In 2002-05 it bolts in and has 2 latches.I have pictures of how it was installed but I wanted to see if anything needed modifying or if there is an easy way to do it. I just figured if someone had tips then it would limit my trial and error. It is not really a big deal.

i know at the very least the rear deck cover needs to be clearanced to fit the two latches

so far as how they're attached, you'll have to figure it out.

do you have the cables and the pull straps for the release? you know they're in the trunk right?

ive been wanting to do this for awhile now as well. i still need the folding section of the backseat as well as the latches. so far as i can tell all you need to do is make the stock 03-05 latches fit into the body. im sure its a pretty straight forward install, honestly. gm didnt change much with the body. hell there might already be the openings there to put the latches into, never know.

M45/OS crank/2.4 snout. It's nice to be injected but I love being blown!

No gas tank to worry about. I'm going to install the seat tomorrow. Haven't had any time it's been sitting on my bench at my shop for a month or so now.

Got the seat installed and works great. Had to cut off the 3inch peg on the passenger side where the old seat mounted on. Drilled the 4 holes and mounted the latches. I'm going to make the release cables accessible from the cabin so I need to pick up another smaller cable from the junkyard since the factory uses one small and one long and mounts them in the trunk.
