Just use laquor (sp) thinner on your door panels, thats what I did when the paint got underneath my tape. Overspray came right off.

Get new panels

I tried everything to get the paint off them so i could spray on the adhesive because i,m covered them in Vinyl. But nothing goes that stupid spray can paint off (NEVER AGAIN)

So i went to the junk yard and for $40 got brand new panels!

Thats your best bet......espically if their melted

I used Acetone, it worked pretty well. Took a little scrubbing but it got the paint off.

using laquer thinner is fine
but ya need to have a couple of rags with ya becasue the thinner will melt the plastic
so wipe it on and wipe it off real fast like

I walk a lonely road
The only one I that have ever known
Don't know were it goes
But its home and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the Blvd. of broken dreams
Were the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone
My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Till then I'll walk alone..........

I know for a fact that nail polish remover will eat the plastic. I imagine a lot of paint thinners are made of the same stuff. Good luck with it!

ImportFighter22: Why couldn't you just spray the adhesive over the paint? Rough it up a bit and all should have worked out fine.
