Getting a better glove box lock installed???

Hi all,

I was just wondering if any of you have ever heard of getting a better lock installed on the glove box of a Sunfire? I know that the glove box itself it not extremely strong, but I'm just thinking of putting something in that doesn't use the stock key to open it (infact any stock GM key will open the glove box) and that is a stronger locking latch.

Anyone have any experience with this at all?

I am also going to be asking a locksmith that we have here at work, so maybe I'll find a solution before I get any responses. Either way I will post what he says.

putting a pick proof lock in a dash that is 99.9% plastic is kinda a waste

unless your going for a custom look for show
