Ok, i got an odd idea. I need to remove the actual inner door handles, just the actual Bannana shaped plastic piece, and i need instructions as to how to remove and reinstall. A buddy made a suggestion that he can make Billet Aluminum Copies of those pieces. so any help would be much apprecated.

nope, there's a special tool for it. And I also think you can remove them wtihout it, but not sure how. I'm just clearing up that they're not riveted on.

isnt it just a pin, that you can use a hole punch to get it out?

Yes, you can do this, but to put it back on, you would either need large rivets, or what I used - MS-100 Machine Screws (they come with a nut also), NW-50 Flat Washers (I used 2 on each handle).

You can do it this way too, but It will only take off your handle and lock, not the base that they are connected to. To do this, take off your door panel, then look on the underside of the handle/lock. You will see the end of a pin right where the handle/lock pivot. Take a screwdriver or a hole punch and beat the pin (from the bottom) until it pops out the top. Now slightly pull the handle/lock from their resting place (not all the way out) and remove the rods that are connected to the backside of them (you'll see what I'm talking about when you get there). I think that's all.
Hope that helps!

Sweet thanks. Ive decided to go a different route.
Johnson manufacturing out in bluepoint, is making a clear arcylic set for me, and im gonna try to back light them with an LED in each one.

for that, you might just want to drill a recess for the sixe of the led , this way the light should diffuse it completly..... that would look sweet.....
if you can have your buddy make a few, instead of just two, i'm sure you will not have any problems selling them......
i know i would buy one.....
