alright so i died the vinyl in my car black...it looked black when i was done, but when i put it in my car and had the dyed stuff up against the stuff painted with krylon fusion, it looked more like a lighter grey...should i do more coats or is it just never going to get that dark??

More coats will make it darker/purer
Are you using liquid dye or spray on dye?
If you sprayed it then yes it will get darker with more coats
