not positive on 1st or 2nd gens, but 3rd gens use a T47 torx for seatbelt bolts. hope that helps you out

cool thanks, i will try that. Canadian Tire has a 6-bit torx set that they sell..... i'll look into that, if the T47 won't fit hopefully one of the other 5 will

might as well buy the set i guess.
thanks!

T50 for more recent J's, don't know if it's the same for you!!

^^mines an 03 and it was a T47

T47 but a T45 will work IN A PINCH. I wouldn't use the T45 if I could avoid it though. Just get a nice breaker bar and maybe a pipe extension and break those boogers loose. Just on't break anything else in the process.

my t55 wont fix on my brake calipers so i have no idea if their is a size smaller because t50 is too small.

1) Where the heck did a comment about brake calipers come in?
2) I seriously hope that was a misprint.
3) Brake calipers use a allen key...not a torx bit. Just looking would have to you that.

i was wondering what size bit myself. need to take 'em off to see why they won't retract. any ideas?

Well as already posted in this thread...it requires a T47 Torx bit.
