can the hazard lights switch be relocated from just behind the steering wheel to say....the dash, or instrument bezel? if so, is it just a matter of routing the wires to where i want it? and can i hook a different switch to activate them?

Yup--a switch is just a switch. Use one from princess auto or whatever and put it where you want. just disconect the 2 wires AT THE STOCK SWITCH so you dont bypass the flasher unit or anything, and run a couple new ones to wherever you want.

Personally, I like it behind the wheel--its outa the way ( I guess that might be a problem for the guys that break down a lot <hehehehehe-evil grin> and I seldom use it.

Plus, although I havent tried the mod--I got a feeling doing it is gonna be a MAJOR pain unless you already have the steering column apart.

taking the stearing colum apart is easy. plus. the top of it just pops off with no screws at all.

i was thinking of doing a push button, like i've seen in my sister's honda. i don't break down alot. ( although i'm sure it's just a matter of time if i don't get some things fixed ) just wanted to do something different.
