Is the smooth/shiny look too distracting for everyone? Im deciding whether I wanna fiberglass my upper dash or not and wanna see how blinding it is on a sunny day... Thanks for any help
Damn blinding! Also...the heat from the windshield (direct sun light) will sooner or later make it crack if you don't use sun shades and vent the windows/sunroof a little....
I like mine! I don't drive it everyday though so not a problem for me.

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

honestly it depends on colour, and what you are doing I find the more curves the more it will reflect its also something you get used to over time I have a custom painted dash thats not all one colour it was brutal for the first week but something I got used to, also ^^^ if you do your dash right it shouldnt crack at all no matter what heat is on it, our boat is sealed like a car fiberglass dash never cracked neither has the one in my car it sat outside in hot weather sealed up all summer and was totally fine also.
If it has a glossy finish it's going to be blinding on sunny days, especially if it is white...that has to be the worst color and I'm glad mines back in black.
I did a flat black on my FG dash and it hardly even shows
LOVE IT!!!
