Hey guys i am wanting to change my lighting in my guage cluster its a 03 cav, i have a pile of 5mm blue led's and i was looking at it and im not sure how to do it. any help?
Pick up a Sunfire Cluster.
It's plug and play compatible with your cavi,
Otherwise you're gonna have to do some soldering.
alright sounds easy enough.. i took out one of the lights and tried to solder it in, but i couldnt get a connection so ill go the sunfire way
what bulbs will i need to get to change the lights from red to blue? superbrightleds.com says its a 168. are these ones like the hvac where they clip in? thx
No, the Sunfire cluster lights up red stock. You'll want to use a Cav cluster to avoid having to remove the red film on Sunfire clusters. You'll have to solder new LEDs to get blue which is nothing like the HVAC. 95-99 clusters have that luxury whereas 00-05 do not.
