I wrote an email about 2 weeks ago, then I called and spoke with ALEX last week. He said he had some ideas and would get back to me. Has anyone else had delays with them?

I talked to him a few weeks ago about a new design for me as well. Its common, it is really just him and maybe a few other people doing these gauges and overlays. Also keep in mind that the J platform is not the only car he caters to. Multiply that by however many people here have probably made placed orders / design requests with him and I am sure it is pretty hectic. Don't worry give him a little time, its not like he is going to leave you hanging.

Ok i have a black cat custom gauge cluster for my 03 and i must say. It looks beast. the only thing is that this is my second one and on each there are a few light inside that could be brighter. and i belive that some of the lighting inside is dulled by the glue they use to stick the gauge face to the cluster. i mean that the glue gets layed over where the light comes through but all in all there product is nice. if i knew how to get the pic posting to work i would post a pic of mine.
Be patient, the man does real good work and good work takes time, the best way to reach him is through the phone. Like said above, he caters to many car companies. Remember he works solo on this stuff.

DONOT put Alex in the same seat as Josh.
Today I actually got my first drafts from Alex after a two week wait. Next step is my review and a final go ahead.
Trust me Alex will not let you fall through the cracks. It is ok to check up but don't end up pestering the guy every day. He takes care of each order personally so do the math, he does killer work and building it custom to your order. That means a lot of effort on his end.

alex is a great guy, puts up with a lot (particularly from this board) and has been working with us for YEARS and is not one of the typical fly-by-night ventures that seem to occur here every so often.
patience is a virtue with him because as mentioned, he works almost a solo act... but his product is absolute quality, hands down.
