Do you guys realize how long people have been doing lambo doors on any car. I see them at shows all the time. Who cares. If the person likes them that is what really matters, but if you are really into car shows what the judges think matters as well. Some cars look better with them than others. The car about at this stage is not the best looking car with lambo's, but still a nice car. To me for show purposes it should be car that are decked out needing extra points. Like a Laverty car, Anthony Jones, etc.... Still the first thing is you should like what you do to your car, then worry about the rest later.

If you like lambo doors that is fine, to each their own. I used to think they were cool but then out of no where it seemed like everyone had them. I went to a show last summer and out of at least 50 sport compacts there were at least 25 with lambo doors.

Played out or not, it wouldn't affect my decision. I really couldn't care less what was 'unique' as long as I liked it. Although I doubt I'd ever get them for my car - don't have the money to spend on a mod like that.

its not that everyone has them...it .when a legitimate company comes out with a product that we dub as being a cool mod........and when the rest of the little no name companies come out with knock-offs, and for cheaper.....that ables people that couldnt afford the 8,9, or even $1000 kits to get them for 4 or 5........thats when you'll start seeing people come out the woodwork

I really don't think they are played out at all. I live in a smaller town and I will be the first that I know of to actually have them. Mind you I know one other person from town that is also takin advantage of the GP. So I guess that makes 2 people in a town with 150 000

I think its funny that the people who think they are "played out" are the ones that don't have them. They are the furthest thing from being played out. Someone puts a bodykit on their car and nobody ever says anything about it being played out, kinda rediculous eh?
Just because its a popular thing to do, doesn't mean its played out, if anything at all thats played out, its a bodykit. I'm still the only one in my area that has them.
it's inevitable really, because you cant have lambos and not have a bodykit.......
so if thats the case no , theres no such thing as its played out. but i do believe that lambo doors belong on lambo "ghinis" and not grocery getters...yes i have a cavalier, and i love my car, but hey its the truth.

That is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Oh corse the people that don't like them and say they are played out don't have them. Why would anyone put those on their car if they don't like them? I personally have even passed up an offer to have them for free, its just not my style.

Looks good, lambos are just like any other mod, as soon as it goes down in price, everyone starts to do it too. Just like body kits were. Its how you do it that separates you from the rest. Looks good, nice job.

I have no opinion on whether they're "played out" or not.....Hell, I have them on my car
Im sick of seeing them up all the time. Its like the people that have them only take pics when the doors are up. I pesonaly dont like seeing cars at shows all opend up. Hood and trunk up. Doors open, lambo or stock. I like taking pics and I enjoy the smooths lines of a car. You cant get that when its all open.
But Sometimes I wouldnt mind having the lambos when I park in tight places. BUt its not something I would be flashing all the time and leaving open every time I go to a cruise spot.

Unfortunately if you go to shows where there are NCCA judges like HIN, you have to have your hood open. I wanted to keep mine down for body lines but when I got the rule book and what they look off of you get a minus 25 for not having your hood up. Just a thought

if they still made fires and cavs they'd start making them with factory lambos.... played out.. maybe... kewl i still think so

Well I will be entering my first show in July. Im thinking I'll use my old coilovers to just prop the hood up a little bit. And Im not entering for the contest portion realy. People involved with future PARTS want it to be seen.

I use to use the stock springs, we painted them and they actually looked good and they hold well.

i think they are a waste of money imo, maybe the reason people don't have them is because you can buy something much better w/ a grand then lambo hinges. Im gonna put gull wing doors on my cavy... no not really but it would be cool.
I would get lambos if they would open more vertically...
there were 2 kits custom made that I've seen on car's at the bash....
like those...
but since there's only 2 and they're already counted for.... its not for me
it looks good on other people's cars... but I wouldn't wanna smash my head everytime i get in to be honest

That is the Speedway Performance lambo kit in the pic above. It is the only kit I know of for the Cavalier's that can open all the way. They can be purchased at any time.
