Finally got a little time here at the shop to do a little work on my own stuff...
Pulled apart a 2.2 and a 2.4 tranny to swap 3rd and 4th gears for a closer ratio AND to install the Quaife LSD
Also will be putting in Spec stage 3 clutch AND a pair of stage 2 Axles from the driveshaft shop...
Then got to work pulling the old engine and trans. out to put this in...
.020 overbore,polished crank,Eagle Rods,Wiseco pistons,Balanceshafts removed,2.3 oil pump,Everything rebalanced,Full port and polished head,SI valves and guides,2.3 LO cam swap. Polished the cam covers,chromed the timing cover,Powder coated the timing chain housing and oil pan (thanks Todd Miller)
And since I had the front end all tore off the car I decided to do something to dress up the chassis...
Powdercoated the engine cradle,steering knukles,rear axle,lower engine mount bracket all Red. Powdercoated the upper engine mount brackets Chrome.
And I should have the Exhaust back from being Silver Ceramic coated sometime tonight.
I know there's some things I forgot to mention but I'll add on as I go.
Oh yeah , the Supercharger is out being polished...

Thanks everyone... Why Red , well the RK A-arms where red as were the sway bars AND It makes it easier for a Judge to spot without having to get all the way down on the ground.
The Green is no where near Manta Green. It's more like BMW Z3 Green only with a dark Pearle in it...
