I would keep an eye on that red hose they might collapse from the vacuum. Everything else looks nice.

Yeah...red colored VACUUM HOSE is gonna collapse from the vacuum....

. Maybe if it's left on there for a long ass time and gets melted a little but I doubt it.
Although it does occasionally happen....

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Thanks man! It has been a while since I've seen your name around. I hope everything is going good down there.

Well as you can tell I've not redone the Vac lines just yet, but the hose is going to hold.

If not I can blame RKsport for it collapsing. Plus Ian had them on the car for a long time with no problems.

Hypsy you are always so nice, but yea I see no problem with it messin' up anytime while I owen the car. If it does I can always get some at work. It is not like a GM dealership wouldn't have them in stock huh...
J-TECH tuner wrote:wow that looks very clean how long did it take u to do that?
LoL I didn't do it fast at all, but I would say I've done everything in the last month. You can tell I'm lazy cause my garage has A/C. Plus I work with cars all day long at the dealership so I just do stuff like this on the weekends.
awesome trey... now get your fire running, lol.
Thanks Adam, I just pulled the engine on Weds to start getting it torn down to send off to get build. I hope to get everything done on that car by next summer. It should be one hell of a car by then. I'm still waiting on my girls dad to find me a good deal on a compressor for the garage. Then I can start on the body work.

I can't wait.

Just saying because it looks EXTREMELY similar to some "silicon" hose that my buddy bought at the ricer section, and guess what it collapsed, and also started leaking/melting at the coolant overflow. I witnessed this.
Always quick to be the executioner huh Hypsy?

SweetnessGT wrote:Great job bud... I gotta ask - why didn't you paint the timing chain case?
Now what does the rest of the car look like.
-Chris-
When you say case do you mean the housing or the outside cover? If you are talkin' about the housing it is painted, but I didn't paint the outside cover to keep it looking like stock. Didn't need to make everyone look bad, but really just thought it might be a little easier to keep clean. All though the paint I used on the housing really cleans up really easy. As for the rest of the car it looks like this for now.
I'm thinkin' either thinking keep the Sunfire front end, but change the bumper to a GT w/fogs and some eyelids molded in. Also still thinkin' of a Cavy front end either a 95-99 Stock Z front, or spendin' more money for a TRD remake kit with 03 LS rear.... hmmm what to do, but first off I got to save up to get the 2.4 sent out.
LoL if you are close I could get some stuff done for you.

I'm in need of a stock Z front with sides...
Hmm PM me where you live and what you want for the front, and I might take the driver's side sideskirt.
