Teaser Pics. - J TO ENVY's New A$$

Well, I want to start off by sending a huge thank you to Eli (Cheesecake) for selling me his spoiler-less Cavalier trunk lid and Matt (Matt Linke) for selling me his '00-'02 Cavalier taillights, '00+ auto shifter (will be shortened 2") and B&M Shift Plus.

I couldn't help but take a few teaser pictures of what the new a$$ will look like (ignore the holes

I will be stopping by the body shop Monday after work to get an estimate for getting the trunk lid painted. It will be painted A.S.A.P.!!!

While I'm posting, I figured I'd also throw a picture of my new Toyota Cavalier trunk liner up. Another big thanks goes out to Eric (97cavie24ls) for this one

On a side note, after stressing about it over the past few months, I have finally come to the realization that there's no way in hell I could sell my GT. SO, I WILL BE KEEPING THE GT AND THE SEDAN! The GT will be the summer daily driver (since it has a sunroof, duh

) and the Sedan will be the winter daily driver / family / dog car. Both cars will pretty much have the same stuff done to them, suspension mods, simple bolt on engine mods and a basically stock exterior and interior. Geez, I guess I'll need to change my name to Js TO ENVY now

Sorry I couldnt talk more, Just was busy doing some things at work...

Get the holes fixed and lets shoot some pics.

i think if rear part of the bumper came down just a tad i think it would look good. but its got my brain confused lol.. firs thing i wanna say it cavalier .. then BAM!! sunfire . what a way to fool the dealership also. im guessing your gonna go for the rk sport filler for the rear

Well, find someone to trade a trunk liner for a TTR upper engine mount. That's what I did

Well, this obviously isn't the trunk lid I got from Eli, that one is red and all sanded down, I just took the plastic trunk panel off and put the Cav tails on to get a better idea of how it will look. I didn't want to mess with putting the whole other trunk lid on though

We'll just have to meet up some time when you get off work or something. So, who's the kid with the other red Cav? One of your drivers?

I definitely can't wait to do a photoshoot. We'll have to find some more abandoned farms

I am actually going to stick with the regular plates I have now. And I will be getting regular plates for the GT as well. I can't help but think it draws too much attention from cops and other douchebags on the road. I want to keep as low a profile as possible, especially since the GT has tinted front windows and the Sedan will too eventually. Damn tint laws

Yeah, it will definitely be fun confusing the hell out of people

! Personally, I think it looks good. I will be wiring the backup lights in the tails to work with the ones in the bumper. I figure if there's going to be four backup lights they might as well all work at least. Plus, I know some recent model Grand Ams have four backup lights and it doesn't look too bad. Not to mention there will be no doubt that I am backing up

Actually, that's a no on the RK Sport filler. Like I said above, this is the stock Sunfire trunk lid I just took the plastic trunk panel and spoiler off and put the Cav taillights on to see what it would look like. I have a '95-'02 Cavalier trunk lid that is spoiler-less and has no holes, except for the lock, but I didn't want to mess with putting it on plus it's red and sanded down and would look worse than this one with all the holes

Yea the other red cav is kevin, one of my drivers... it needs some work. Its got one of my sunfire doors on it.

I hear you about police. we were out till like 2am working on my 2 cars and kevins cav in my parking lot and this cop comes up to us CONVINCED that one of the cars or a set of wheels, or SOMETHING was stolen. and he kept us out there for an extra 30 minutes. He wanted to search our cars and everything, i told kevin to lock his car right in front of the cop and he got pissed off.... We had nothing on us or anything illegal at all, I just dont like cops who think they own you.

I need tint, thanks for the reminder

Yeah, cops can definitely be d!cks sometimes

As far as tint goes, I got the windows on the GT done at Ziebart's in Ottawa. They did a great job. Other than that, I don't know of any other reputable places near Y-Ville.
