Didn't he sell that thing?
yea to another member i believe
lol i was just telling my friend where i got his nickname JOEdm from and picked up this mag lol i was like look theres his car!
Thanks guys.
Much love for everyone whom has posted thus far. Comes as a great satisfaction seeing this after being in a depressive state regarding my current car status.
I'm really glad Shawn bought the car, and despite regretting the sale of it somedays, at the end of the day
I built the car and if it was featured any other way I would not have been pleased. No disrespect there at all, those are just my feelings.
I sent in my submission way back with hate mail and talk of a j-body project car came along, I've subscribed to SCC for some time now and would prefer it over Super Street etc. SCC has great tech articles and do some of the best testing I've seen a magazine do. Regardless of it's relevence to me they always seem to be interested reads and facts.
Very pscyhed about it though, now where's my @!#$ Mothers?
Im stealing all of your mothers
you moms at my house fight now
Can we get some pictures of this car
I don't know the strory on it,But none the less its a j-body and thats always good to see in mag theres enough hondas in them and every other type of car

I was telling a couple people about this at work and they all agreed that since I now own the car that you should send the Mothers products to me
Haha, but on a serious note it's awesome that the car made it in the magazine, and you deserve it 100%. Your blood sweat and tears went into this thing and what better way to show that off...
It just sucks for me that no matter what I do, I will always be driving Joe's car...lol
It'll blow over.
I bought my first j-body from Brandon Fetter.

I have to agree here. While they rarely mention anything about GM (at least that isn't trash talk, but they've gotten better, and I think they've secretly grown fond of the ecotec), the articles are intelligent and technical. The writers have personality, and really, any article is only as relevant to yourself as you make it (PJ and his Honda article about rod ratios are a good example there). And even if you never own any of these cars, the tech is there, and makes for a good, intelligent read. I like smart things. People that use big words and don't talk bent over and backwards are a lot of fun to learn from, and you can understand things better if you only need to be explained things once.
Also, congrats Joe. The picture is great, the car is great, and I bet it's searing the eyes of the Honda guys that read SCC.

Congrats Joe...... You should write a book on "How to tastefully mod a cavalier"....... a few members here could use a guiding hand.

I'd just gotten in my most recent issue of SCC and while sitting on the John, dropping some thoughts, I'd noticed the feature of Joes car.
I was astonished.
With all the seemingly hatred for the J-body platform, the lack of respect that goes with the platform, SCC came out with this featured ride.
As a long time reader of the SCC magazine, this was a refreshing change to say the least.
In a world of Import oriented cars and readers rides that mention nothing of the domestic scene, this was something to feel good about.
Joe, thanks for making this happen and to show that there are a few of us out there that do care about our cars.
It's unfortunate that you no longer have the ride but this little feature should be your lagniappe for some time.
Good luck with our future car and thanks for being our representative for our cars.

Oh and for the guy that bitched about unsubscribing to the Turbo mag and SCC, you'd be surprised what you can learn about reading these magazines.
I've been subscribed to the likes of SCC, SuperStreet, DSport, Honda Tuning, Turbo, and Modified magazines for some time.
There's a wealth of knowledge in reading and it can be applied to our cars if we take the time to apply what we read.
