well for the last year and half i 've been tossing around the idea of getting rid of my car, but alas i have decided to change the look of it to an 03-05 sunfire front and finish it.

as you might have remembered this is how it last looked...

here is how it sat for the last 6 months or so...the dogs thought it was a climbing toy... lol

well the weather finally started to warm up and i figured it was time to get the car outta the drift before it got water damage or something equally stupid..

it left a nice mark behind.. just hit the air up and just drove right out..

parked back in the garage...ready to be torn down and finished

the new front for the 03-05 sunfire conversion..

quick little self teaser...

Looks like a very challenging task you've taken on! I love where you're going with it though she's gonna be a unique J. Look forward to seeing how it turns out. I'd like to convert my fire with an 04 - 05 rear end , but that's just the dream lol. Good luck!

Hmmm... Liked the original look overall minus the mirrors... Definitely interested in where this is going , keep it up! and Im guessing the hood is getting mesh in those open areas...

are you running an 03-04 bumper? looks like your trying to blend in the flares from the bumper to meet the trunk. is so, INTERESTING>

Look closely, it's either an 03-05 rear with a lip or a 03-05 rear from some kind of body kit, guess by the glassing all around the seams

you would be correct, its something thats always bothered me about the 03-05 rear, but i hated that filler plate on the 95-02's. wait till next weekend, i should have the decklid back on.

i thought so.

Hrmm... Im hoping this is mostly a weekend/show car than.
Because... without mesh, someone could easily get into those open areas without mesh and decide to damage them,
and without any coverage there... Id imagine it could take in a good amount of water in a rain... enough to lock up the engine...

Re: Project Cavfire

number one: headliner is sex

number two: cant wait to get in that garage

number three: cant wait for the show!

and for number four: we got ALOT of work to do!
