The only thing being painted on the car is the quarter. The hood and bumper are being painted off the car. Thing is it was supposed to be painted last Saturday but it we ran out of time and I had already set up the appointment for thrusday.

Not much has happened since my last update. Still messing with body work and paint. Got what I could back on the car. Decided to put the interior back in. Airbags and dash are in. Cleaned the interior up which was a mess from the previous owner. Got the leather seats in today. Heres some crappy pics for now.

Are you gonna pull the dash/radio bezel and paint it when you do the body of the car?

It will be by then end of this week. We have as close of a match as we are going to get (there are like 3 slighty different shades due to previous collision work), so once I blend onto other panels it should work this time. The last can of paint we had mix was too off hue to even be able to blend it and make it halfway decent.

UPDATES!!

The car is ready to roll. We got it all painted about 2 weeks ago, then did a quick cut and buff at the end of last week (had a little orange peel in the clear, and I guess I was a bit heavy handed and left a run near the bumper). But everything is all back together and ready:

Then we decided at the KGM Mod Day/Swap Meet that the engine bay was two junked up (thanks GM!) so we relocated the cruise module and computer:

New and Roomy:

And their new home...

Can anyone guess why we had to replace the upper motor mount? lol
