Time for my yearly update
Wednesday, May 16, 2012 2:31 PM

I guess I really just cant stay away from this site.... my, has it been 10 years already?

Anyways.... Back in february I damn near totaled the car by hitting a deer. It did a hell of a number on it. But thankfully I had full coverage plus aftermarket parts coverage so they decided not to total it.

Three months later I rebuilt her with some slight modifications to the original look. Lets see if anyone can figure out what I did to the bumper.....

and for the big change....

I'm really happy how she turned out. still have some tuning bugs being worked out but its so fun to drive after not being able to for three months...

Love the outside, absolutely hate the engine bay. Spend a few hours and clean that up dude. Hopefully you can get what you need and get it tuned properly then you can really enjoy driving it.

The ones who guessed Pontiac G6 are correct

I see them around everywhere and always had the idea to use them in this bumper but just didn't want to take the time to do it. After the wreck I had to reglass the whole bumper because of how trashed it was so I figured it was the perfect time to use the G6 grill idea.

The Quad 4 cover is just that, a cover. The powerplant is the same old 2000 2.4L. My brother had one and thought it would be cool and nostalgic.

And yeah the engine bay needs some work. Once I get everything straightened out and tuned I have plans to really spruce everything up

and thanks to everyone, it is good to still be around and in a j-body. I just can't get enough of these vehicles it seems

Power windows, manual holes looks like? I like the front bumper, not a fan of the wheels. I think something better could fit the car. I think the grill fits the hood very well. Seats and overall interior look great. Like everyone else said, clean up the underhood area and call it a day.
