2004 Sunfire sedan
Tuesday, May 22, 2012 6:46 AM
This is my 2004 Sunfire sedan (I'm Canadian!) with only few mods, but I think it is much better than the day I bought it

The day I got it (winter 2010)

Then I put Z24 wheels (spring 2011)

I swap a Z24 00-02 trunk with the tails and spoiler (summer 2011)

And now with a new suspension on it and fresh painted wheels. KYB struts and Apex springs (May 2012)

That's the cleanest Sunfire sedan I can recall ever seeing. Looks nice.

I like the car, my only gripe is that you took the only thing that really makes the sedans stand out (the taillights) and you changed them to plain Cavalier tails. Oh well, to each his own.

thank for all the comments!

to roofy: I know but here in Canada there's a lot of sedan much more than coupe, so it's my way to look different and also I keep the sunfire bumper...

Surprised no one asked if you want to sell your rear tails. I thought that would have been the first or second response.

I absolutely love it! As a matter of fact... I'm jealous of it! It reminds me of my former 2002 Sunfire SE Sedan. If only my Sedan would have had an ECO though .

Do you have any more plans for it?

If the "Pontiac" wasn't embedded into the tail panel, I'd have asked him if he was selling.

I was agreeing with Roofy about swapping decks and tails, but if there is a ton of those rolling around, and I can totally see the point in changing out. Although, it looks like the 00-02 Z wing would fit nice and snug in that lower point of the Sunfire tail panel. That'd REALLY stand out then lol.

thanks everyone for the comments!

to everybody : I don't sell my stock tails!!! sorry!

to J TO ENVY: for now I have 2-3 minor mods in head but maybe next year I would look for new wheels (maybe 17"). Otherwise I would buy another J but manual and put it supercharged ou turbo...(also next year and probably another sedan!)

I don't blame you for not selling the stock tails. I got rid of alot of stock stuff for my Sunfires over the years and ended up regretting it later on when it was time to sell and trade in. I learned my lesson and now have a box in my room with miscellaneous stock parts off the Vibe, including the stock antenna. I'm not getting rid of anything this time around .

Some 17s would definitely look nice and a boosted Sedan would be awesome! Like I said, I would absolutely love to get my hands on an 03-05 Sunfire Sedan. I loved the Sunfire Sedan I had, but an ECO would have made it my perfect J.

I can't wait to see some more progress from you! Keep up the good work !
