When they are mounted directly behind the seat they will compress/damage your spine in a crash. Properly mounted harnesses are mounted 0* to ~20* from parallel to the car floor. Alittle research could have save you serious injury.

yea i understand now that your not busting my balls. i got to figure out the best way to mount the harness to the backseat some how
My original plan was to run an Autopower roll bar/half cage and tie them to the cage. That would be the safest since you will have some protection in the event of a roll over, because those seats/harnesses will keep you upright during a rollover and possibly have the roof say hello to your head.
