Much better.

What paint and clear did you use?
-Chris-
Nothing crazy. Started with Duplicolor trim black and wasn't feeling it. Laid gloss black over that and cleared it. All rattle can.
Came out nice since the silver was a good base for prep work. Simply scuffed, cleaned, and shot it all.
Ordered some cheapy 118db horns because I was sick of not being able to hear my own horn on the highway. They will be hidden behind bumper cover. This isn't a Subaru!

Plans of a new tucked 3" cat back are in the works. This thing is dragging on everything.

Are you coming out the rear with the 3"? or dump before rear axle?

Can you let me know how those horns work out for ya?
My horn has @!#$ the bed completely, I looked on eBay for a set of Hella SuperTones and notice those came up a lot, I was wondering if they were any decent.
Otherwise it looks great!
Nice!

Just keeps getting better and better! LOVE it!
You didn't bother with the wiring harness they offer with the horns? Or are you gonna use your factory horn wires?

How do those camber shims on the rear beam treat your tires? I remember talking to a few people here about them awhile ago and got some mixed reviews about them chewing up tires. I guess the rotation of the rear beam causes the toe to never be the same at any point in the rotation or something. Im still trying to wrap my head around it.

I opted to only run one horn. I really didn't feel the need to run both after I tested them. Simply cut the stock wiring and attached new connectors.

Those people are correct. The rotation of the rear beam causes a toe issue while using the camber shims. Something I simply cannot change. I don't notice any wear on the rear tires as of yet but you can slightly feel a characteristic change when taking a normal sharp turn at lower speeds. Nothing that would cause worry. Plus I believe I feel more than the average driver in those terms.

Don't you dare say the word "ecotec" in my thread! LOL.
Honestly it's not a half bad idea to eventually make the switch........

I wasn't sure till it happened but removing the 3mm of rear spacing was the best choice for my fitment.
I'm sure it's getting old seeing my small updates but here is a full shot of the car with the corners done. Fender markers are a little off but I'll fix that shortly. The sun makes it appear worse than it really is.

damn man.... my teins are almost fully dumped out back and nowhere near as low as you. you got the shorter springs?
M45/OS crank/2.4 snout. It's nice to be injected but I love being blown!

2" shorter rear springs and my strut mounts help with the drop. I can go about another inch down in the front and the rear is just past the halfway point of the threads.

The teins that ill be sending you eventually have a shorter spring. Not sure how much shorter but the collars are set 4-5 threads higher and the car sits lower than what's on the Z.
Jay I'll just continue the fap fast as well. Car looks juicy as always, but....

This quote is the best thing I have heard though. I am in the same boat and look forward to your plans for it.

damn those look nice. I need a set of those for the sedan.
car looks great. i've never noticed any real issue with the toe changes running the camber shims. granted my car is only driven to an autox, beat on, and driven home. no ill affects in the handling department from what i've experienced. they would be small changes at best as there isn't a huge range of motion... at least not the way my car is setup.
