Amen to that. My twins are 11 now, and wrench time on the Cav is hard to come by

good luck with the new build
well finally decided to stop walking past the car and did a little work on the wiring which isnt fun. I have most of the chassis harness all buttoned up but having some major pains with the headlights, which if anyone has a wiring schematic for a 00-02 z24 headlight switch and headlight wiring go ahead and feel free to send it my way. tomorrow ill post back with some pictures of the wiring thus far.

i think this is one. i know the hanes manual has it.
got a little more work done and gave up on the headlight wiring. I got rid of some drl wires which I'm sure is causing my issues from the headlight switch. so i just took the signal wire from the fog light relay and wiring a seprate relay for the headlights so now they come on even when the headlight switch goes to parking lights but owell at least i have lights. once i finish the headlight harness i should be ready to start wiring up the tec, race pak gauges, and my other 3 gauges ill be running. tomorrow im giving some parts to my machinest to make for me including making a idler pully for the water pump delete, making me flanges for the water pump to the block, and having adaptors made for the clutch line to run a -3 stainless line instead of the plastic, if there is interest might offer it as a kit. heres some pics for anyone that knows what the factory wiring looks like should be able to notice the lack of wires...
some of the wiring supplies for the engine harness

Did you buy that crimper just to do this job?
If a Deutsch pin crimper is the same i could have let you use it
mmmmmmm mil spec gonna be sooooo clean.
Looking at the diagram above what should work is to run a wire from the lt help fuse to the dark blue wire (B) on the left head light and it should work again. The wiring setup on the headlights is ground activated. When you flip the switch you connect the ground and the lights work. This based that you have the black/white wire coming from the light switch still grounded. Hopefully this helps.and gets your lights back up and going.
approved.....for cleanliness

Looking good. Anymore info on running the braided clutch line? I was thinking about that standing looking at all the fittings as the speed shop.

OH NOES FETTER IS POSTING PICS!!!!!!!!!!!
on a more serious side. are you planning on changing out the ttr upper mount? reason asking is because they have a good bit of movement and you have a lot of close tollerances on you parts and engine bay. along with the fact that the loss of torque frome the engine rotating compared to a solid mount or the rk mount would be more appropriate. given the high horse power you will be making.

I run a braided line and a short section (to make a clean hard 90 across the trans) of regular brake line. Details are in my manual trans swap thread.
