I tried searching for this but nothing came up. How are the side moulding and door emblems attached to the Sunfire. Adhesive, bolted, riveted, clipped? I want to remove them but I don't want to rip one off right yet if I have to fill in holes. Thanks.
before anyone else screams at you i will simply tell you to read the FAQ at the tops of the pages. Also use the search button. this is what i got for typing in side moulding(http://www.j-body.org/forums/search.php?f=47&search=side+moulding&globalsearch=0&match=1&date=0&threadtype=&fldsubject=1)
Searh and read the FAQ;s is your first start.

You need the following materials:
- fishing line
- scissors
- gloves (optional; I highly recommend using them because the fishing line
will really start to hurt your fingers after a while)
- 3M Adhesive and Tar Remover (in a teal can; can be found by automotive
paint at Wal-Mart)
- a towel or rag
Here are the Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of fishing line that is about a foot long. No matter how
careful you are the fishing line will eventually break and you will need to
cut more.
2. Take the piece of fishing line and put it behind one end of the moulding
or badge. Begin working it up and down behind the moulding or badge.
3. Continue working it up and down until the moulding or badge comes
completely off.
4. Once the moulding or badge has come completely off, spray some 3M
Adhesive and Tar Remover on the area and let it sit for a few minutes.
5. Take a towel or rag and start scrubbing the area. You will have to
re-spray the remover a few times to get all the adhesive off.
6. Once all the adhesive has come off, wash and wax the car and you're done.

Wow, I swear I read that before and just completely forgot about it...I'm sorry for wasting a post. As for the search, I typed in 'side moulding' and all it came up with was one post about how this guys car looks without them. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction nicely though.
