No, they don't. They can't spin enough mass fast enough to create any kind of boost. I believe somebody on this website tried one with a 2nd generation Cav. No power gain was seen.
Better off buying a gas leaf blower and piping it straight into the intake. Sure, you'd have to refill it, but you have to refill nitrous oxide too.

Yeah go ahead and have a electric supercharger, just be ready to have one at least half the size of the motor and make sure you have a trailer hitch for the trailer full of batteries or an industrial sized generator to power that beastie.
Why not just set up a few solar panels running straight to the turbo. Free power?
