Having been on this forum for a while, I love this place
I got a 97 2.4L cavalier (90000KM) and just a couple of questions about the car:
(1). I'm thinking of getting my air intake system upgraded. Should I go for an expensive one (eg. AEM) or just get a piece of cheap intake pipe
like this and put on high-performance air filter?
(2) I feel my car is a little bit out of control when making sharp turns. Will installing strut bars make any difference?
(3) Gear shifting isn't so smooth and sometimes I can hear clunking noise when shifting gears, especially from N to D. Should I get someone to flush the transmission system?
Any help is appreciated. Cheers!
1. The cheap intake with a K&N filter will work just as well as an AEM. There are also no difference in gains from WAI to CAI in our cars.
2. Check your suspension for warn/loose parts.
3. Check your engine/tranny mounts.

that, i would also suggest slowing down at turns, and get better tires.
