05 Cavalier LS TCS light

Today I am picking up my 2005 Chverolet Cavalier LS, which I looked at yesterday. Everything on the car is damn near perfect, but there is one seemingly small thing I am concerned about. On the test drive yesterday me and my father noticed that the Traction Control System (TCS) light comes on when the parking brake is engaged. The TCS light comes on with the parking brake light, and I don't know if this is a big problem, a blown fuse, or if it is supposed to happen. A response with an explanation would be greatly appreciated, thanks for reading---Austin

No, it is normal for the "TRAC OFF" light to come on with the parking brake. For the Cavaliers, it is one of the only ways to disable it. The Sunfires have a ECS/TCS off switch.

Thanks a lot, I actually didn't know that Sunfires had a button, I guess Pontiacs are just more "fancy" in general.
