Trunk lock, instrument cluster

Hello, newbie question. 1996 Cav, 2.2, 5 speed, where trunk lock is mounted the metal is breaking, guess someone didn't know their own strength. Wondering is there a repair kit, or do I replace the whole trunk? Also trying to replace instrument cluster for one with a factory tach (mechanical mileage indicator) anything special I need to do (programming, etc.) any input is appreciated, thanks in advance.

you might be able to fab up a ring that would fit around the trunk lock cylinder or slap a sticker on it. it wouldn't fix the crack but it would hid it until you found a trunk lid the color you want at a junkyard. you could try and weld it but that metal is pretty thin, easy to burn through and could warp if your not really experienced welding on body panels.
