First time at the strip...17.79...

So I went down to Milan's High School Nationals yesterday, it was busy and I got there late-ish so I only got one practice before eliminations but did get into the second round of eliminations.

In practice I ran 18.10 losing to a silver Vibe that ran 17.7. For the eliminations I dialed in at 18.05 and broke out running 18.01, fortunately the truck I ran against redlighted so I won. Next race was me dialed at 18.00 against an orange Celica with an ugly bodykit dialed at 18.25 so I thought it was an easy kill... I cooked him down the track and ran 17.79 to his 18.7 but I redlighted and lost.

So it was a lot of fun, even though my car is slow, bracket racing is not about that, and I really enjoyed it.

I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.

Nice job. Yeah, bracket racing always gives the advantage to the autos. I remeber last year I tried it for @!#$s and giggles. After I knocked out a few people (to my surprise), I ended up getting beat by a 20 second car with some old guy driving. lol... Still a good time though.
