97 2.2 cavalier dirt track...pushes badly
Sunday, July 10, 2016 5:16 PM
Hi everyone, I've been dirt track racing for 6 years. Won the championship at my local track in 2014 then sold that car. Started from scratch and I cannot figure out why the car is pushing so bad.....it's embarrassing. First things first, what are your opinions on front seat bars? Thanks for the help in advance.

What's the suspension setup? stock?
does it have a rear swap bar? These car's push pretty bad if they don't have a decent rear swap bay. What are your division/class rules about suspension/modifications?

Track rules state stock suspension. Currently I have lowering springs on the rear and left front with stock struts. Toe is 1/8th inch out on right front. I've never run a rear sway bar because I heard they loosen the car causing momentum loss.
Tires are 185/60 r14
Pressures
RF 26
RR 26
LF 18
LR 18
