One dead, another rises...

Wife's 1999 sedan she bought in 2006 for $2,700 finally gave up the ghost. Trans is toast after 237,000 miles, which includes towing our utility trailer with more weight in it than I think a Cavalier is supposed to handle. Probably the reason it died, and it's definitely not worth the price of working.

That said, I'm trying to put my 2000 coupe back on the road again after sitting since 2014. After a bunch of sputtering, smoking, and general protesting, it starts and runs like nothing is wrong. Just need to figure out where the A/C is leaking from and patch that up and it should be good to go.

I ISorry about your '99. At least you have another cav to drive and toy with.
Hey I have a question about resarting a car that has been sitting for three years or in my case almost four.
Do you spray anything in the cylinders(take out spark plugs) like pb blaster?

I used a few drops of regular oil.
