ok i was watching tv and saw honda's new commercial about them being the most fuel efficient car company....i was thinking "yea and the slowest car company too" then about 5 minutes later i really was thinking "damn they really are close to the slowest car companys" cause as of this year Honda's fastest production car is the S2000 which 0-60 is bout 6.0 seconds (by the way in case u didn't know Honda doesn't make the NSX no more)....ok.....then i thought ok ford has the GT & Mustang GT both of which are faster to 60 than the S2000 (GT=3.5 secs Mustang GT=5.0) Dodge has the Viper and to a lesser extent the SRT-4, Pontiac has the 400 HP GTO, Even lux brands are beating Honda....Cadillac and Chrylser both have cars than can run with and beat the S2000....caddy's CTS-V will smoke the car and a 300C will run about even with it...with the SRT-8 300C busting the cars ass....i guess it all isnt about fuel economy....
yes, you know because 0-60 times tell everything about a car's performance
well 9 times out of 10 if a car is faster to 60 it also wins quarter mile.....but i do give honda this...it can build a slightly bigger miata really well
so the quarter mile is the end-all of performance? The s2000 isn't built to run the quarter, it is a handling car through and through. In my opinion, the s2000 is better than every car you listed except for the ford gt and the cts-v. As for being a bigger miata, well who said that was ever a bad thing? The s2000 and mx-5 were not built for all out horsepower freaks and quarter mile junkies, but for the handling enthusiast. So back on topic, I don't think it is really fair to say a car is slow just because it runs a slower quarter, especially when it is built to turn.
fair enough 97redGT u win i concede feel free to kick me in the ass

Cars designed for handling WOULD NOT have been made as a convertible. Yes it does handle well, but without a top on it you get a whole lot of body flex which results in a degradation of handling POTENTIAL.

so why did no1 list the vauxhall (sp?) vx220 and the speedster, they are as good if not better performers than even the Lotus Elise in handling?
wait a minute. you mean to tell me the cavalier isnt up there? the top notch ecno-box

0-60 and 1/4 mile times have nothing to do with each other....
0-60 is acceleration
1/4 mile is time to distance which means covering ground faster.
i know you probably cant figure it out and think i'm wrong... but once you figure it out come and explain it.
and by the way 0-60 is a very arbitrary figure that has more to do with traction than actual acceleration potential... try 0-100 as a better test of how "quick" a car is (remember "fast" refers to top speed... "quick" refers to acceleration)

normally i would think that you were joking... but by looking at that hideous abomination on your sig, i actually think you are that dumb!
just so you know.... acura's are for the most part rebadged hondas for stupid americans that wouldnt spend 50grand on a honda, but would spend 50grand on a honda with a different badge.
Did they stop making the SRT-4 this year?
acura is an american company only. all the acuras here are under the honda label in japan.
