well my dad came over from england to take a polygraph for work (yeah thats right he works for the goverment) so any way he stoped by this morning unanoucned while I was installing the Megasquirt needless to say it was a great suprise.
so any way after the reunion I noticed the weird thing he called his ride. after figureing out that it was a truck.....car......thing I started over looking it I made the realization that it is a PT cruizer on crack. then I opend the hood They have an eco

. It was sitting there with all the stock parts on it. since I was working on My car I had some wrenches in my hand. unfortunetly since my brother was there they were able to hold me back. trust me it took both of them.
any way before he departed I snapped a pic of this thing.
and yes I know the hhr has been out for a while.

Crap sometimes has corn in it
Doesnt mean im gonna eat it, even if i really like corn
I thought everyone knew they had ecos, what else would they have?

How many steps to heaven, Doc?
...Ah, metaphysics.
What else would they have? They are built on the Delta platform, after all, just like the Cobalt and Ion.

Would be kind cool if someone swapped the 2.0 supercharged eco in one.

I know you can get them with the 2.4 eco as well.

When the HHR first hit our showroom floor, we had representative from GM come to our dealership and give us a full walk around and full demo of the car, and they said that if and when they do a style change to the HHR that the last year before it undergoes any major changes that there is a possablilty of supercharging the car. Kind of like what they did to the Impala and the Monte Carlo in 05, they supercharged them only for that year, since in 06 they went through a makeover. So it wouldn't suprise me if they did supercharge the car. Hope that they do.

i kinda like the looks of them. i went to test drive one...crap. for someone 6'2", there's isn't a comfortable driving position. i sat so high up that the rear view mirror wasn't a convience, it was a big blind spot. i had to duck my head to look under the mirror out the front window to see to my right.
getting on the freeway was like trying to merge through traffic in a tank. the car is way too heavy for the poor ecotec (granted, i didn't drive a model with the 170HP eco...i don't think). once it was at cruising speed it was comfortable, but of course, don't try to pass anyone cuz you'll just get in everyone else's way.
GO PATS!!!
