convertible!
did anyone know of holden
Ya, so is Vauxhall in Great Britain(Europe) and so is Opel in Europe. They all use the eco motors, just slightly tuned differently. I've been to Australia and they have some really cool sports cars. Some of them still use leaded gas too.

Time to get it going again.....
yeah...Holden Monaro = Pontiac GTO

The GTO here is the Holden HSV in Australia and they had it back in 2000. I remember, I went to the auto show there.

Time to get it going again.....

Most people know, yes. Just to fill you in, the following brands are all owned by GM:
Buick
Cadillac
Chevrolet
Daewoo Motor
GMC
Holden
HUMMER
Opel
Pontiac
Saturn
Saab
Vauxhall
(forgive me if I missed any)
GM also holds partial stakes in some other companies, such as Isuzu.

the former." - Albert Einstein
It did of Subaru Heavy Industries until recently too.. that sucks... Is the Saab 9-2 (or whatever) still a go?

yes, the 9-2x AERO is still a Saaburu.

the "GTO" has been in production for a while under the holden name. that's why i dont like the modern GTO
I think it's in the same boat as Isuzu.. GM has controlling share.

^^^ 20% isn't a controling share...i worked for American Suzuki. But Since GM doesn't know what to do with Daewoo in the U.S. they basically handed them to Suzuki. GM wholy owns Daewoo so i guess in a sense Suzuki is in essence by the balls from GM.

Gm sells it's Daewoos in Canada as Chevys.

Isn't Daewoo the company that had a "buy one, get one free" deal with there cars about 5 years ago?
