I just took a ride in my bosses C6 Vette, it is a regular Corvette LS2 6 speed. It has the CAGS eliminator with K&N air filters, tonight I installed for him the Z51 sway bars and wow what a difference. We took it out for a spin, shifted it at 4400 RPMs and the car went sideways. This car is an absolute monster and anyone contemplating it go for it.
I am getting the CTS-V 6 speed after I graduate college and cant wait. I love the LS2 and RWD. Just wanted to rant about the drive tonight.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Unless you're Chuck Norris.
Then two wrongs make a roundhouse kick to the face.
I dunno how long til you're out of college but be careful with those CTS-Vs. Alot of peoples rear diffs are grenading because for some odd reason cadillac put a weak one in there. In most cases its from hard launching but what fun would it be to never be able to launch hard?
My dads c6 has the z51 package and he also has the skip shift disabler installed, deffinity a fun ride
I can not imagine the Z06, I dont unerstand how it would hook up.
The reason he did not get the Z51 package is because he heard a harsher ride, and the tires wear out at 7-8K, he did not want to replace them that soon. So the sways were a nice upgrade, the stockers look like toothepics next to te z51s.
I hope the CTS-Vs hold up, I am not getting one soon just dreaming I guess. I am on the V-Series.org and havent heard any problems. I gotta check though.

Road and Track said it was the best car they have ever tested, and it was the most reliable

all the problems I read were on ls1tech and cadillacforums. Even if it doesn't grenade, its still too weak of a rear end for that car. On ls1tech someone is working on an upgrading rear end that can handle the factory TQ + more.
I forgot to add that on top of them being weak, when/if they break GM seems to not want to replace them and basically voiding the warranty because the drivers were "abusing the car" or something like that.

ouch! are you serious? road and track said that??? sounds like the only cars they have tested are kias! its not bad.. but other than the engine its nothing special. i would say merely competent.
Yup, those C6 are awesome. I drive them at work all the time and the Z06's. Its like night and day. We also took a C6 convertible and sent it out to Callaway and upgraded its horsepower.
