Well we all know that our Js lose value like rocks..........even if they might be semi relialbe and make good daily drivers.
For those of you who keep the J as a second car, how much icnreased cost does this cause?

I was wondering this myself. I will prolly be getting a new car by the end of the year and I don't think I will get much for a base model 96 sunfire.

I think it would be a good idea to keep it as a second car.. I would have kept mine as a second car when I bought my GTO, but I wanted a truck to truck to haul my ATV around with, so I sold the Cavy and bought a truck.
Rob
Sold 2/2/05
I would keep the cavy as the 2nd vehicle.
Its not worth much as a trade in. I only got $1800 for my 00 with avenger kit and drop. I could have got more if a I sold it outright but I didnt want to wait. Stupid, yes I know.
The only reason I traded mine on the SOlstice is because I have a 98 S10 ext cab for daily driver duties. You cant live in Texas and not own at least one truck. Its like a law I think.
I dont think its ever a bad idea to have at least two cars. You never when something might go wrong with one and its nice to have backup.
What about when you rip the car apart to paint it, install this, jack with that, ect ect. You can leave it apart and know you have something else to drive. No rush when working on one.
Most of my close friends have at least two vehicles.
I am all that is man
