themarin8r: Some people don't like the Road-Sailing mirrors on the fender... I can't imagine why though.

They Call Me...Baby Gorilla: I would think that it's okay to own anywhere as long as it doesn't see prolonged bouts of salty roads, it's been restored.

shawn: Mid 60's mopars aren't easy to come by, but the skylines are even harder to come by. The market for these will go up in the next few years.

I would also buy that in a heartbeat. Take out a loan, and bam, have myself on of those babies and be the only on in the western hemisphere . (jk)
How hard would it be to import it to say california? I imagine it would be a little more difficult because of emmisions but I know it could be done.

Dude, it's just a car forum.

Re: Skyline for import:

"dude", some of us are sick of saying the same things over and over. it takes 5 seconds to type "import skyline" in the search bar. it's expensive, and unless you're willing to pay the full price to a-import the vehicle and b-get it legalized, you're not going to get one. FURTHERMORE, you are limited to the R33 - all others were deemed illegal. do your research, please.

I actually talked to some people that was dropping off an R33 Wednesday. They said right now to get an R33 shipped DOT approved, tagged, etc. etc., you were looking at around 57,000 USD for an R33 GTR. Not too bad imo considering they said even small things like the visors had to be changed out. The one they were delivering was about 150k USD, and was putting right around 1,046 hp.

Heres a pic of it.
